<p>Littoral combat ships (LCS) is a class of six stealth frigates being built for the Royal Malaysian Navy.[1] The ships are based on an enlarged version of the Gowind-class corvette, designed by DCNS of France. The contract has been finalised and it has been decided that all six ships will be built by local shipbuilder Boustead Holdings Berhad for the Royal Malaysian Navy.</p>

<p>KD Pahang (F172) is an offshore patrol vessel [1] belonging to the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) in the Kedah Class.<br />
The ship was built on December 21, 2001 at the Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft shipyard . it was then launched on 2 October 2003 and commissioned on 3 August 2006. [2] The name of the ship was taken from the state of Pahang. &#8211; Source Wikipedia</p>
