KD Perak (F173) is an offshore patrol vessel [1] belonging to the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) in the Kedah Class.
The ship was built on March, 2002 at the Boustead Naval shipyard . it was then launched on 12 November 2007 and commissioned on 3 June 2009. [2] The name of the ship was taken from the state of Perak. – Source Wikipedia
